Bio

"Every grave represents a heart ache" Please remember that these were once living people, who still have living family members and relatives. Genealogists often deal with people long dead, and so have become inured to the pain that can be caused to family members of the deceased when searching for clues and hints when it is the recent past. Be aware that you're invading the privacy of living people. Please be sensitive to this when you copy my writing: Of an immediate family of seven [7] only two [2] of us remain. This is my family, please treat them with respect and care.

Born and reared at Noctor, Kentucky I have a familiarity with Breathitt County.

A private investigator by trade, I made a living seeking documents and finding and interviewing people travelling the state of Kentucky [and other states to do so.] Accuracy and documentation from my career are skills I also apply to Genealogy.

My goal on Find A Grave, FAG, is to have as much accurate information as possible. I back up my entries with extensive documentation to be found on the Brown Family Tree on Ancestry.com, birth records/death records/census data, registry of graveyards, etc.

A further goal as a member in charge of memorials is to provided complete and accurate information for your loved ones. Send me a bio with as much information as you'd like, within the rules of FAG. If I can help, please let me know. Corrections of any information welcome, but I will check it for accuracy.

Please feel free to copy my photos and use my information for your own use with credit to me, but do give credit if I have gained permission from someone else to use a photo. Consider this blanket permission.

Genealogy is not a blood sport. Insulting personal remarks are not constructive or professional in any sense of the word. It has no place on FAG.

All the very best to you all!
