I have taken grave marker photos for Findagrave Members. However, I have done some scraping and cleaning of markers, but I do not come with a bucket of water to clean them before photos. So if there are defects, bird droppings or whatever, it is what it is. You can contact the cemetery saxton... I just shoot the camera.|
DUPLICATES: ONE of my BIGGEST pet peeve is duplicate memorials!! If I have added a memorial and MY date is after yours, BE NICE and let me know and I will remove it....It was not done intentionally!!
HOWEVER, if your duplicate was created after mine, FAG policy is that the newest duplicate be removed!! Before you add a memorial, LOOK First before you create a memorial. If one exists, just ask to have pertinent information/updates added OR ask the creator to transfer to you if you are a direct line ancestor. Just use the EDIT tab and click on SUGGEST A CORRECTION...
FAMILY LINKS: I feel it is important to link families. I am happy to link any family members that you request.

I just attached a photo to Joseph Long's memorial page. The dates on the grave stone do not match what you list. If this is not the Joseph Long you requested a photo of let me know and I will remove the photo.
|Edgar Allen Pie||Find A Grave Photo Request / Mary O'HARA|
Hi, I'm happy to fulfill your Find A Grave request to photograph the headstone of Mary O'HARA at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA. Because there are more than 100 open requests for this cemetery, please call the cemetery's office at 310-836-5500 and get the specific plot number of the grave--I can't go to their office and ask for the locations of 100+ graves! :-)
Once you've got the location, message it to me and I'll go take the picture as soon as I can.
I will be heading to the cemetery this Sunday so if I get your location information by then, I will be happy to post your photos then.

Thank you so much for linking son, Arlie to his parents. It is now more complete for Arlie's children, Robert and Paula to see. Thanks for the extra effort.
Sincerely Cathy W. Find A Grave volunteer in MN

Thanks for the additional information! If you need help getting obituaries please let me know. We have access to many online obituaries starting from I believe 1975 on back and then 2005 till present. Including the good, the bad and down right ugly stories about things that happened in manitowoc WI. I also, go to the library that is a stone throw from my front door. I'm going there tomorrow actually to do some research. Since myself and a few others here are known well for what we do. We won't charge you =) The goal is to get people connect. The above person is not related to me at all. We have a data base of every grave here in manitowoc but we are filling in all the blanks as we can we have over 46,000 so far. Our goal is to keep giving families all the information they can to get there tree's connected etc. So it sounds like we have the same goals. I'm planning a trip to door county in July so if you need some photo's let me know how I can help. Thank you so much again for your help and now another family connection is complete.

I'd like to request you to turn over management of your Page burial sites in the Amberg Cemetery to me.
I am related to all of them -- they are my grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.
I appreciate all you have done to put them on FindAGrave. I would like to add a bit of info to them and link them with their proper relationships.
Thanks so much!

Hi, would you please transfer the Cohodes' in your possession to me as they are my cousins.
|Rita Neustifter||G. Duket - Harmony Cemetery, Marinette County, Wisconsin|
The G. Duket listing for the Harmony Cemetery is actually William Duket 33 years, 1 month, 27 days, which is on your photo of the stone that also contains his father Benjamin Dukat. He perished in the Great Peshtigo Fire with his parents October 8, 1871 and is referred to in the Obituary of his brother Joseph Duket. It was hard to find him (the "lost" brother) and I would like to make it easier for other family members to remember him with the correct name from the stone. Your work is so appreciated and I know that it took much care and work to do the wonderful photographs. I thank you whole heartedly! Rita - Oconto County WIGenWeb Coordinator who is a volunteer, helping families put together and share their genealogies and family histories.
|Miklich||Find A Grave Memorial# 113607356|
This may be the grave of Charles Marquardt, the son of William and Caroline Marquardt. His name appears on the 1880 census for Peshtigo. On the census, the last name has been was misspelled as "Makquet." He was born in 1877. There was another son, Albert who may be buried nearby. I am also looking for the graves of William and Caroline. I suspect that they may also be in this cemetery. Any help would be appreciated.

Dear L Evans,
I am so deeply grateful that you took the time to investigate and photograph the headstone of my great great grandmother,Katherine Pergoli. I've had a great deal of difficulty locating information about her and her husband. Your generous contribution of time has helped me immensely. Thank you again.
