Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy since the 1970s. I have worked on my own family and helped many friends with the research for theirs. I got involved with FindAGrave through a cemetery project undertaken by my DAR chapter.

The family names I am currently researching include: Furlong, Keith, Smith, Cooper, Montague, McCrady, Loudon, Holsworth, Conard, Alberg, Twitchell, and Gaslin.

RE: Added photos
I was up there today and re-walked the whole thing twice. It wasn't too bad, although I was exhausted by the time I was done. I can't believe how many temporary markers are still there.

You much live in the local area. I'm in Bellevue.

Shuford Family
Some members of the family you asked me to list place of death as Catawba county , city of Newton. They, at the time of their deaths were actually in Lincoln County. I will put Lincoln because if someone were to try and find probate or other estate records they would be in Lincoln county. I hope you understand. It looks like Catawba county came into being in 1842.

Shuford Family
Thank you for the edits on the Shuford family. I will accept the edits as I verify the information. As the Shuford / Shurfertt *spelling* dates back to the late 1600's this may take me some time to verify. Do you have any documentation on the family?

Headstone Photo
May I have your permission to use your photos of the headstones of Kathryn Norris and Melvin Norris at Hillside Cemetery?
Kathy was my first cousin (the daughter of my dad's brother).
Thank you for your work as a volunteer on Find A Grave.

Thanks for following up on this for me. I had no idea. I live in Texas, so I don't get up that way very often. I appreciate your looking for me.

Thank you. All of us who have worked in Find A Grave understand how easily this can be done. For one, I'm glad that we can communicate our errors w/o feeling guilty.

Preserving the Past
RE: Susan Brockert memorial
Thanks so much! I appreciate your follow through. I too have accidentally duplicated a memorial, and always appreciate someone letting me know so I can take care of it. Also, thanks for placing the headstone photo on the memorial as suggested.
Regards,
Debbie R.
