Apparently I have developed a fascination with cemeteries and locating those inside of them.
I found this site while using ancestry.com and since some people had left photos of my ancestors, which I really appreciated, I thought I would try to give back to the community here and become a contributor.
I just started doing family history research this year and hope to add to my notebooks as I go.
I'm researching ancestors (Cloud, Eller, Mayer, Simpson, Greenwood, Farris) from OK, AR, IN, MO, and have gotten as far back as 1790 on one branch. I hope to continue adding to my knowledge and learn more about good research.
I was able to locate several Myers in the location the rather unhelpful cemetery worker provided, but there was no Millie. I found: Robert M., Letah A, Katherine M, Jack G, Juanita Moore, James "Jim", Jane, Robert, Flossie & Harry. Took photos of those just in case, happy to email or upload to you if you need any of those. Sorry could not locate Millie :(
Was this left by mistake or did you really look for Edgar and could not locate him? You may leave a message using the edit button on his page.
Aden P.S. I see from your bio that you have relatives in Indiana. Let me know if I can help you here. I am a volunteer at my county historical association and have access to a lot of records. I'd like to "pay it forward"
RE: Aden = Gainesville TX, Fairview Cemetery Thank you so much for looking for William's grave. I appreciate your persistence! Cora is the little daughter of my relatives. I think someone already posted a photo of her stone. William is in the same plot, according to his memorial and I am trying to figure out where he fits in to the family, as I don't have any other record of him. I truly appreciate your help, as I am in Indiana, and can't search for myself. Thank you! Amy
