Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am retired from MICH CON GAS CO a/k/a DTE ENERGY and I live in NorthEast Michigan.
I was the Maple Ridge Township Clerk for six (6) years and kept the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery records at that time. Later on I volunteered to work on the Cemetery Committee regarding cemetery expansion and improvements after more land was purchased.
I find Find-A-Grave more interesting when photos are posted of the deceased person as well as their headstone photos. I am presently doing family research and find family and friend cemetery memorials very interesting; but many have no information at all. That's when things get interesting!
I will help whenever I can to add needed information and photos, etc.

What is your source for her middle and maiden name?

Leary family
Thank so much for the edit and especially for the family photos! You are right that an image of the individual adds a dimension to the memorial that is otherwise impossible to capture.

Please let me know if any of the individuals of which you have a photo is important to you. I am tracking a very elusive Daniel L. Leary (married in Toledo in 1838 and divorced in Freemont in 1846), and I've created a memorial for every Leary that I have found along the way--regardless of whether I am related.

And of course, if you should know something about "my" Daniel, please let me know that too! I guess he would have been of the same generation as Franklin Leary's grandfather, Silas H. Leary.

Best wishes,

You are very welcome. This is the second memorial stone this week that I have taken a photo of that shows their life story. How very interesting. Have a good day (tomorrow). Barb

RE: Jacob Vincent Kieliszewski
Hi, Jeanne, The bottom of the headstone says, left to right:

Mother, Magdalen, died 1927
Father, Jacob, died 1930
Husband, Joseph, died 1950
Wife, Catherine, died 1972

Hope that helps.

RE: Mary Esther Valentine-Fisk
The sexton checked the records and couldn't find Mary under any name.??? He said he's had this problem before. She may be in an unmarked grave or buried with someone else and it wasn't written down correctly in the books??? I would just leave her as is and maybe someone but bump into her along a walk:)

RE: Ethel & Ed Welsh Photos
You look familiar - did you live out this way? Did they own Welsh's Orchard on North Ave?
