I have gone to every place in Rockingham and Shenandoah Co. Histories and cannot find a Margaret Miller. I tried to find parents that had a Margaret during that time and was unsuccessful. I will keep trying. I have not been able to find John & Elizabeth Hause Minnick who are Margarets parents.
Frustrating to say the least. Could only find one marriage for Silas.

Glad I could help. I have passed along the GPS coordinates for this grave to be added to this memorial so that it will be easier to find in the future.

Hi Jeanne, Thank you so much for the information you sent. I'd like to transfer Mattias' memorial to you, if that is okay. My husband was ill last fall and we made the trips to the northeast area of Michigan to view the color and get him out off the house. He enjoyed driving but you need a destination. He also enjoyed looking for headstones. All of that to tell you I'm not related and would like to see the memorial in the hands of someone who cares about Matthias. Mary

I've made the correction for his brother. Sorry - that info was given to me by someone else, so I didn't know it was incorrect.

It is marked as a cenotaph since he is buried elsewhere. Also for Mary Chaney Catlett, I did not link the people that you added. They would have been in their 80's when Mary was born. Thanks

I usually clean up the marker before photographing it. Sometimes I have to dig them out after locating them. Just part of the process. I have 11 cemeteries I photograph so I don't have time to do a lot more. Glad to be of help.
