Research tip for Indiana: If an obit says the person died at a address, doesn't mean that is the county the person died at. In Indiana a lot of addresses are located in different counties. For example, Gosort, IN address can be in Monroe County. Poland, IN address can be in Owen County, the address now for Cunot, Indiana is Cloverdale ( a Putnam County address), but a lot of Cunot people live in Owen County, so on and so on in Indiana. If you are looking for a birth or death record the person may actually have lived in another county.

Cottage Hill Cemetery
Rhonda, I saw Brian Bemis, Brazil City Garage yesterday, and we talked about Cottage Hill Cemetery. I was looking for about 40 people. We went to the cemetery, and found a few. Guess who has already placed a memorial on Find A Grave. You! So I deleted my photo from my camera. It's been awhile since I was original going to check them out. So how did you like the headstone that looks like a tree?

If you are not related to Doris, I would greatly appreciate having her memorial transferred to me. I am her cousin and have entered many of our mutual relatives on Find-A-Grave. She and Bill were a lot of fun, and, yes, they "lived to fish". Thank you.

No problem, always like to keep memorials somewhere within the family.
