Bio
Both my parents were born and raised in Erie Co, PA. My relatives tend to be in the areas of Lake Pleasant, Hatch Hollow, Union City, Waterford, Union Twsp and Bloomfield, Crawford Co.
My Father and Mother worked at Glen L. Martin in Baltimore, MD when I was born. My parents Divorced and until I was 18 I did not know my Birth Mother was a Gordon. My Father had spent 3 years in the US Army before the war but got drafted in 1944, got out in 1948. Recalled in 1950. I spent most of my childhood life following him around the world. Started High School in Germany, graduated HS in Japan. Joined the US Army in Japan in 1960, switched to the USAF in 1965 and retired at Pope AFB, NC in 1981.
Started following my roots in 1999 and spend quite a bit of time each year up home in PA. I lived in the mountains of North Carolina from 1981 to Oct 2018. Am now living near Show Low, AZ. Am still following my Gordon roots and have found many new cousins. Always looking for more info on them.
Under languages I also speak and read German.
