It has been brought to my attention, that photo’s I’ve submitted to Find-A-Grave can now be brought up on a Google search when my name is put into the search bar. When I checked it out for myself, sure enough, there they were, totally out of context and not intended for what they were intended for. Therefore, I will no longer be submitting any more photo’s into Find-A-Grave because of this, and I am taking down all those I have submitted due to plagiarism. All photo’s I submitted were my personal property and I only intended for them to be posted on Find-A-Grave to coincide with the persons memorial page ONLY. To see that they were out there on a Google search was totally disheartening to me. Can anyone explain WHY or HOW this happened? I would try and contact the people of Find A Grave, but I have tried that in the past with absolutely NO results. In other words no one every gets back to you... EVER.
