I've been seriously interested in genealogy for about 7 years. My niece was named after my great grandmother. We knew her name and that she was from Prussia, and nothing else. That puzzle was my inspiration. Sept, 2011 I visited Peoria and Marshall counties in IL and many cemeteries, and broke through that brick wall.

I am researching the Nicholas and Catherine Reinharts of Alsace and IL, Joseph and Anna Krenz from Chodziez (Kolmar)Prussia & IL, Barthell and Kastner from Perth County Ontario,Alsace, and IL. Browning/Wright, Betts/Hoffman from PA.

I live in the beautiful Eastern Sierra in CA, which is a large geographic area, with a sparse population. I would be happy to take photos in Inyo and Mono Counties, and also nearby areas in Nevada. We do experience snow, so some requests may have to wait until warm weather.
