I started researching in August 1997. I have written numerous genealogy/research articles published in the Echoes (quarterly publication for the Scott County Historical Society - SCGHS) and have published a book on the 1900 Scott County, Arkansas Census for the SCGHS. Worked on an extensive project for the SCHGS to photograph the cemeteries of Scott County, Arkansas. I'm an assistant to the web master of the Scott County, Arkanas web page.

My research is done through Ancestry, Rootsweb, numberous contacts with descendants of those I search for, trips to the Scott County Historical Society and to the Scott County Courthouse to search through and copy records. I indexed the research materials for O. Alden Smith who wrote "Scott County, Arkansas - Gateway to the West" when his widow donated them to the SCHGS.
