Thank you for your message. Eleanor Green Harris is my fourth great grandmother and I am so fortunate to have the original photo which I scanned in. In the past couple of years I have learned that I hold in my possesion several wonderful photographs that others on ancestry have never seen so I have continued to share what I have and very appreciate the collaberative effort of the ancestry community for what I have learned of my ancestors. My relation goes like this:
Eleanor Green Harris
Sarah Bell Harris Reed 1844-1929
Eliza Reed Dunlap 1864-1954
Grace Belle Dunlap Kennedy 1887-1975
Harriet Eleanor Kennedy Eckert 1916-1994
Julie Kay Eckert 1945-living
My mother was an only child and thus inherited all of her mother's photos. My mother remembers her great grandmother Eliza Reed Dunlap. This photograph was passed down each generation. My grandmother Harriet Eleanor Kennedy Eckert obtained the photos that were in her mother's possesion when she died. I have tried to contribute as many as I could. Unfortunately I have been too busy to devote as much time as I would like to this incredibly rewarding project. If there are individuals I have mentioned that you would like to see photographs of, I would be happy to share. Being able to care for these images has been a tremendous honor.
RE: Isaiah Oldenburg Photo Request I will have to look at the census to see where he was an inmate. He had quite an obituary. Go to www.wyonewspapers.org, click on city, then Laramie, then the Laramie Republican. His obituary is in the 1921 issue, February 08, 1921, page 5, Col 3. After the obituary is another short paragraph of one of his son's returning home after attending the funeral. Another side note, the baby buried in the same site as Isiah is his granddaughter (daughter of H. J.) who died in birth, in May, 1921. Her notice is in the paper on May 12, 1921, pg 6, col 5. "..and the plot thickens," as the old saying goes. Just some resources I thought you might like to know about if you didn't know the .org listed above.
Thank you so very much for pointing out my mistake regarding the cemetery for Violet Foshse. I am not sure how that happened but clearly I made the mistake. I have corrected the mistake. Thank you again.
Merle I made the additions you provided. I am not a friend or relative of the McCauley family and will be happy to transfer them to you if you want to manage the memorials. Also, I think they are marked graves if you want to request photos.
