RE: James Shields
Thanks for your reply, Blake. We exchanged info and photos several years ago. Your memory is good as I am indeed a grandson of Beulah Shields. I will e-mail you directly too.

James Shields
You actually found a photo of James Shields, husband of Anne Campbell? Do you have any leads of either's parents? I'm still at a brick wall.

Thanks, Bob Woods

RE: Isaiah Oldenburg Photo Request
I will have to look at the census to see where he was an inmate. He had quite an obituary. Go to, click on city, then Laramie, then the Laramie Republican. His obituary is in the 1921 issue, February 08, 1921, page 5, Col 3. After the obituary is another short paragraph of one of his son's returning home after attending the funeral. Another side note, the baby buried in the same site as Isiah is his granddaughter (daughter of H. J.) who died in birth, in May, 1921. Her notice is in the paper on May 12, 1921, pg 6, col 5. "..and the plot thickens," as the old saying goes. Just some resources I thought you might like to know about if you didn't know the .org listed above.

You are welcome. I just wish there had been markers. Take care and God Bless!

RE: Isiah Oldenburg Photo Request
Hi, I revisited the site yesterday, the snow is gone and there is no visible sign of a marker for Mr. Oldenburg.

Thomas McCauley
Just wondering if your ancestor Thomas McCauley ever had any children as none are noted. My cousin is looking for any information on a person by this name. She was born Dec 1943 in WDM to a Mexican mother who worked as a domestic in the home of a person by the name of Thomas McAuley or McCauley. She was told this man was married but did not have children. Any information would be appreciated. I can be reached at

RE: Orville/Deloris Foshe
We were not related but long time friends of the families. Orville and Delores introduced my dad to my mother back in the 50's. They attended Open Bible church back then I believe.

RE: Clara Ransom Photo Request
Your very welcome! I have to admit...I have a "bank" of pictures that I've taken for that cemetery and just haven't had time to post them all.
