I am the greatgranddaughter of Hattie Latonia Nicholson Leap and Charles Henry Leap. They had two children: Edith M. Leap Kratz and Clifford R. Leap. I am Charles R. Leap's 2nd cousin. His father, Clifford Leap, was my mother's uncle. Charles used to send my mother lots of genealogy, but they did not see each other after we moved from Indiana to Texas in 1961. Although I don't remember meeting him or his brother, John William Leap, I did write to him a couple times about the family history. I would enjoy hearing from any of their family members as they are the last Leaps left in this lineage.
