I have traced Louis and Julie's ancestry back to the 1600s in Quebec and other ancestors back to France and England. My paternal line includes the Hickeys and Lafontaines in South Bend, the the Hiss, Gartner, Eckstein and Gesey families in Indiana and the Flynns in Niles, Michigan.

My maternal line is focused in Boston area and County Cork, Ireland. The family names include: Oliver, Hennigan, O'Leary, Doyle, O'Sullivan, Mahoney, Molloy and Ganley.

My wife's paternal line includes the following families from the Dubuque, Iowa area: McKeown, Larkin, Cummings and Powers.

Her maternal line includes the following families from the Sheffield, Illinois area: Maher, Sullivan, Cragin, Sheridan, and Ford.
