I am researching the Tidwell and Johnson families of Fayette, Walker, and Marion counties of northwestern Alabama, especially the descendants of Job Tidwell and any Native American intermarriages; the Hemphill family of McMinn County, Tennessee; and the Bayless and Smith families of Jasper County, Missouri and Labette County, Kansas. I am particularly interested in the American Revolutionary War patriot ancestor on these family lines.
