I started working on my mom's side with my cousin 20 years ago when she was living in Texas. I got the bug and then started my dad's side and then my husband's side. Sometime I get confused on whose side I am working on but I have found a lot of info online and libraries. When my husband and I have traveled, we also check out the family history where ever we go. I will say, do the research before everybody is gone as it would be a lot easier to hear stories than to try and locate the source.
