I was born and raised in New Mexico, primarily on a ranch for the most part of my life. There isn't a better life to be had, I don't think. Being the youngest girl with two sisters, I was "daddy's girl" and worked with him on the ranch. I was taught family is everything and to honor those who have passed before us. I absolutely love helping others and am grateful for each day that rises and sets. |
I don't care how many people I add--I care about families and helping. If I have a loved one of yours and you would like that person transferred, please use the edit button (upper right hand side) and tell me how you are related and we'll go from there.
I can't stress this enough: USE THE EDIT BUTTON FOR TRANSFER REQUESTS. I will ignore all transfer requests other than those sent via the edit button.
Please do NOT post death certificates on any of my memorials!
Any photographs I take of headstones are free to use EXCEPT for profit.
Also, if I do make a mistake and duplicate someone's memorial, I will absolutely remove it. All I ask is for you to be polite about it. I'm volunteering here same as you all are and everyone makes mistakes; none of us are perfect, only the Good Lord himself and his son, Jesus.
If I am able to help anyone, I will do so and willingly. One thing to note here is I do not take photos in Tucumcari. It is too far of a drive for me these days.
A very special thank you to all who have helped me fulfill my father-in-law's desire to learn about his family at last. Each and every one of you have a special place in my heart with the huge smile my papa now has because he knows his history at last. I am not finished with his family research and each person added brings that much more delight to him. God bless each and every one of you for that!

I am trying to put the puzzle together of the McPherson's.
I only recently learned the names etc.
My GG Grandmother is Mary Jane McPherson-Price.
I belive her Father to be William or Malcolm or W.M. McPherson.
I have this as a possible link as well..If you can confirm the parents, this will be great.

Hi Tricia, I am a subscriber to Ancestry.com, and I found both Samuel and Caldonia Elizabeth Love. Caldonia is Samuel and Eliza Jane's daughter according to Find A Grave and Ancestry.com. He is buried in Old Liberty Cemetery, Farmersville, Collin Co., Texas. He was a Civil war vet. Eliza and samuel had 5 children, Omega (1884-1975), Eloise (1875-1951), M. Ervin (1887-1890), Caldonia Elizabeth (!872-1952), Robert G. (1879-1901). If you Google Samuel Ervin Love, it will take you to an Ancestry.com site, and then check out Find A Grave site. Good luck, I hope this helps you. My small way of "thanking" you for your efforts in helping others find their ancestors. Teresa

Tricia, thank you for everything, tranfers, your time and efforts. I have found decendents of my great grandmother through Memorial postings on Find A Grave and my research on Ancestry.com. We have even had family reunions because we were able to connect, isn't that wonderful? I will definitely keep the Love family in mind as I research my family. Do you have any idea what city, state they lived in or nearby? Again, thank you for your kindness, Teresa
