I have been doing my families geneology for nearly 30 years, off and on, and, I found out about "Find A Grave" the summer of 2012. I decided to go to a family cemetery of my Dad's people in Helena, Ark. in Oct. 2012. I joined 5 girl cousins and my husband and made the treck to Maple Hill Cemetery. It was a wonderful day filled with memories shared by all, about each of our particular relatives that we knew something about. It was a time for exchanging information about our ancestors, and that is really what it is all about--not forgetting OUR past. We owe it to future generations.
