Hey Kevin find a grave had me take the down because the cemeteries were unknown.
You need to get hold of Dan Berkebile he was the last one to visit the church and village in Germany (as did several others over the years)and he talked to Manfield Schumacher, a village historian. Would love to have the photo copies or photos of the records if you get them. I've lost so much over the years with computer crashes.
The new Berkebile books are recreations and additional info found after 3 crashes.
Perhaps you could look and see if there are any cemetery records while you are there or baptismal records (I believe there were some female relatives who came to America and think I have found some records for them but they were not included because I had not verified them. (keep in mind graves were sometimes reused in Germany)
The village is Birkenbuel

Kevin, Thank you so much for doing this. I made the trip to KC, but it was so hot I must have just overlooked them. Your time and kindness is appreciated. Doris

THANK YOU so much for your efforts on searching for, and supplying, her burial location. It is so sad there is no headstone.
Blessings to you,
Martie

RE: Elizabeth Herr Martin
Family trees on Ancestry prove nothing. Nearly every family tree on Ancestry you will find for Henry Good (Find A Grave Memorial# 86903725) will say he was the son of Christian Good. I have found documents which prove he was a half-brother of Christian, not his son. Someone guessed he was Christian's son and the error is repeated in many family trees.
That is an example of why I prefer to work from primary, not secondary sources.

Elizabeth Herr Martin
What is your source for the birth year of Elizabeth? Primary or secondary?

Naomi Little/Williams
Hello - I think a mystery has been solved concerning Naomi Little Williams at New Lorimier. You had two requests for a picture of her grave under separate names because John Hinkle had set up two separate memorial pages. One was under Naomi Little and the other was under Naomi Williams. I had looked for her grave before but could not find it at section 6 lot 63 and today - success! Her grave marker was on the back side of Clifton Lee Little and John F. Williams. So I put a picture for her grave with both pages - if you can get John Hinkle to delete the incorrect one, I would be glad to delete that picture. Isn't this confusing? But I am so happy to find her and hope it will help you. Ruth Smith

RE: Dan Painter (1923-1997)
My pleasure. Sorry I couldn't find your other Painter. They were not together. If I'm ever back down there I will look again.
