I put in to have this memorial deleted. Thanks so much for the feedback, as you know I was gifted many of these CC mems from Find A Grave, and am still working to clean up the dupicates and mess.

Thanks Input

RE: Frances Pearl [Burroughs] Frye
Hi, it looks like this has already been updated. Would you like this transferred to you?

Thanks Linda and thanks so much for putting the stuff back on the graves! I really appreciate your help! I have the IOOF marker for my great grandpa's grave, too. There are still some of those markers that I have not yet figured out where they if you have any pictures or see any of mine or Nancy's that have them in the pictures let me know!

RE: Cleo Brookhart
If you are a family member you can probably contact the person who created the other memorial and see if they wouldn't mind transferring the memorial to you since theirs was created first. Then you can update that memorial with all of the information from the second memorial (and the information I gave you from the cemetery office) and request the duplicate one from Mountainview be deleted per Find a Grave policies. The creator of the duplicate memorial has been with Find A Grave for a long time and seems to be very caring. I am sure some kind of arrangement can be made.

RE: Cleo Brookhart
UPDATE: The cemetery office confirmed that Cleo does own the lot at Mountainview however Cleo is not interred there. I did a Find A Grave search and found Cleo buried in Davenport Iowa. Here is the Find A Grave Memorial# 91919529

Hi Linda - here is my personal email:

Can you explain to me what you are "doing" with the Iowa cemeteries? I am comparing three sites right now: Find A Grave, IowaGenWeb and Iowa Tombstone Project and (one county at a time - there are 99) I am adding anyone who is "missing" to Find A Grave (LOTS of babies and children and, actually many who don't have stones). I just finished Calhoun County, am working on Butler, have about 90% of Jones County done and am waiting for replies to emails for three more before I can start. I'll be working on Butler County later today. Not only people missing but also quite a few cemeteries so I am adding those too.

Are you working on a specific county(s)? Just give me a brief overview of what you are working on so we don't duplicate efforts. Thanks - Cindy (None to be Forgotten)

PS - I am moving to Iowa next spring. My family all settled there from Minnesota and Wisconsin. If you feel comfortable telling me, what part of the state do you live in?

I connected Donald to his parents but I can't add the information to Thelma's memorial because someone else is the creator. (most of it is already on her page)

I've made the changes for the names and dates and linked her to her husband. Find a Grave has modified their web page so you can put the changes in yourself and won't have to wait for me. Go to the Edit tab and you can do all the above items yourself. I'm happy to do it for you but I've found other volunteers that won't.
