Done. Wonder what is happening with the one that is there. Looks strange.

Way cool. You both are wonderful. After doing genealogy for awhile, one gets to think, heeeyyyyy, wait a minute. That doesn't add up... Thanks for checking on this. ;)

RE: Atlanta Buffington Schlee memorial #101168624
Hi there,

This photo came from a Buffington family photo album owned by the Columbus Community Historical Museum in Columbus Junction. This photo as well as others of the Buffington family were originally taken in the 1860's and 1870's on CDV's. In the 1890's the photos were copied and reprinted to the cabinet card format. This was done so more family members could have copies of the original photos. If you look closely at this photo you will notice she is crooked in the photo. That is because the original wasn't perfectly straight when copied.

I hope this helps!

Hi Linda, Thank you for volunteering to take photo's at cemeteries. It sure helps us that don't live nearby to take them. I was wondering if it would be possible to use your headstone photo's of Williams (Greenwood Cemetery) on my family tree? I will be sure to give you credit for the photo's and they are from Find A Grave.
