re: Ambrose Williams
Definitely NOT the first link you left (Find A Grave memorial 3683214).
The second link is the correct Ambrose. Not a lot of new info there.

Its likely that Ambrose will be found buried with daughter Phebe Easton. Ambrose took custody of the young Dix children after the death of their father. He moved west with the youngest (Nancy), Ambrose's daughter Phebe (wife of Orlando Easton) and Ambrose's remaining son Ira. Adelia Dix as Mrs Homer Darrow appears in 1880 Kansas at Harper Co, KS (but by 1895 is back in Louisa Co, Iowa). My last info on most of them was in Labette Co, Kansas where Ira marries a Mollie Rice. After Phebe's death in 1879, Orlando remarries in 1881 Oswego, Labette Co, KS and later moves to California. Ambrose is referenced for the last time in 1869, so I currently list his death as 'after 1869, Kansas'.

re: William Cutcome
I have completed the suggested additions of information with respect to the families of Wm Cutcome. However, for the info you sent on William Cutcome, I have distributed this information apporpriately, as the first sentences (which I believe were cut from the histories that you list as sources) are somewhat misleading, and perhaps in error). I could find no reference that told me that Jonathan Dix was a native of Virginia. In fact, the census data tells me that he was born in Ohio. Mary Williams Dix (who that sentence also mentions) was also born in Ohio. Mary's father was born in NY state. The siblings of Rosanna's that the suspect paragraph ends with, I moved that information to the memorial for Jonathan Dix.

Looks like there is some more work I can do on these lines, but I have limited time.

If you are able to find the burial for Ambrose Williams in Kansas, I would certainly be interested in that. It is Ambrose's cousin Abiathar who is also buried in this cemetery. Other cousins of both Ambrose and Abiathar are buried throughout the county.

Ruth Gipple Abbott
I deleted the memorial for Ruth Abbott that you asked me to remove. I am sorry, but was having some problems with my computer that day and added a couple extra memorials. Not knowing which ones they were to remove the dup. I appreciate you letting me know. We only want to give our loved ones proper memorials and I try hard not to make dups. Feel free to let me know any time I make mistakes.

Thank you for being a part of find a grave, also.

RE: Donald F. Gipple
Are you related to Donald, and are you asking for a transfer?

I didn't notice it this time, either. I tried to improve the image but not much luck. I will
try to retake it so that David Francis will show up better.

Thanks for catching that, Linda. I have removed it and will see if David has a stone at Greenwood.

RE: Grave photos
You are very welcome, added a military stone to one. Wayne went today and we always do back up photos with camera. So there's a few extras on our computer. Best Wishes, Wayne and Connie

That would be nice to have the memorial. Your name still shows as the original contributor. My husband's line is from the 2nd Mary. I assume they are both in that cemetery, but I don't have proof. Thank you for the transfer. Julia
