|G. Mounger||RE: Burrus Family|
Thank you for checking the Burrus entombment. On John Perry Burrus, the office did not have any date either, and there seemed to be some confusion in the records that they did have. There was a note according to the lady I talked with that he might have been moved there in 1968. I do know that his death certificate states he was buried in McKinney, Texas, and that is where they were original from after the family moved to Texas. His parents are buried in the Pecan Grove Cemetery. Elder John Perry Burrus was the original owner of the Burrus Flour Mills around the country, and it originated in McKinney before expanding, and in which John Perry Jr. called Jacked owned them. At any rate I believe that the elder John Perry might have been buried in McKinney, but after the purchase of the entombments in Sparkman Hillcrest they might have moved him there after his wife died. (Why he is not marked I do not know). Which was the starting of the Burrus nitch. His wife Edna E. Clardy Burrus died in 1964, and John Perry Jr. "Jack" in 1975, and his wife in 1977.
As to who William Clardy Burrus is I cannot find a thing on him. But he would fall in line to be a son of John Perry and Edna Clardy Burris, child with the middle name of Clardy. But no such person is mentioned in any records that I can find. I have made note of him and I will contact you if I find who and where he belongs.
Thank you for all you have done taking the photos of these families and going the extra mile.

Burial in Sparkman Hillcrest Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
I have requested a photo of this persons tombstone and submitted it maybe three times. My last one was just a few minutes ago.
I have listed his place in the cemetery as Pioneer Garden
Lot 9 Block 28 Space 6.
When I go to my request that information seems to be omitted from the request.
If this is indeed true on the request, please let me assure you I have added this information at least two times.

That is fine do not worry about it as Mattie was my 5th cousin and will try and call them on Monday.
|Spirit Consort||RE: Laura Mitchell|
Thanks for your message. I also received one from Find A Grave automatic e-mail. I have removed the photo request. When I get the burial location information from her daughter, I will make a new request.
With much appreciation for your time and effort to reply.
