Bio

Since I retired 20 years ago I've had time to do genealogy research on my family. My paternal grandparents came to the U.S. in 1906 and 1912 from Hungary and my maternal grandparents came from Italy in 1912 and 1915.

In addition to my own European genealogy research, I have also done extensive research on behalf of my children who are direct descendants, through their mother, to Thomas Hale (1606-1682)of Hertfordshire, England who settled in Newbury, MA in 1635. Other family surnames include Bartlett, Chidsey, Cowles and Low.

I have only recently taken a look at Find a Grave. Its a great tool for research. I have traveled to Hungary and Italy and have taken several photographs of graves in these two countries. If anyone with closer relationships to those I have posted wants me to transfer, I will be happy to do so.
