Bio and Links
Bio Photo Husband & Wife cemetery walker team. Originally got into the find a grave site after discovering a find a grave memorial for a very close family member that lived in a different state whom we lost contact with. We are so appreciative to all of the photo volunteers that have fulfilled our requests and help fill in the blanks of our family tree, so here we are paying it back! We photograph all around California mostly of entire rows of cemeteries and do so on various weekends.

All our photographs are copyright free so use them as you wish, of course giving credit is appreciated :) All of our photos were done using a Kodak M350 12MP digital camera however as of late November 2014, we are using our new Sony DSC-W830 20.1 MP camera. Having done this many photos some are bound to have turned out no so stellar or perhaps can use a re-shoot. Message us if you would like to to re-take a certain headstone and we will try our best. We now try to take at least two photos for each headstone: One to show the stone and inscription and another to show the headstone as well as the area nearby.

Also, if we receive an edit / SAC request, please be aware that we will ask for 'proof' to validate the accuracy of the information that is suggested for a correction. Do not take it personally, it's not that we doubt you ;) ,... we just strive for the most accurate of information on these memorials and having a source of these facts will help us learn more and have these edits processes ASAP. We do transfers within the Find-A-Grave guidelines but will add any correct and verified information you have to a memorial.

R.I.P & respect always to our departed loved ones, including but not limited to: Virginia M Halbrook "Nana", Gerald James Halbrook "Tata Jerry", Jennie M Reynoso "Nina", Ruperta Campos "Mama", Gerald Wade Johnson, Ira Johnson, Frank Abbott "Papa", Pamela Ann Sequiera, Aimee W., Arthur "Tudy" Delatorre, Steve Delatorre & Anthony Delatorre and all those we love and lost far too early

Jesse DeLaTorre Photo request
The cemetery has no record of Jesse DeLaTorre but we did find a Jesus DeLaTorre buried in March 1990, The burial site information left on Jessie's memorial does not match any records at Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery, where did that information come from?

RE: Jack Mecca
I'm glad you emailed. I just made an assumption that these were the same Jack Meccas. I looked around a bit and didn't find any other Meccas, but I don't recall which dormitory I was in. Let me know what you think - I can delete it until we have more substantial proof that they are indeed the same.

Hi. Yes, I'm a Denney relative. My mother is Beverly Denney Hicks. Her parents were Floyd & Blanche Denney. My grandfather Floyd was born in Tennessee and moved to California when he was 14. I have Denney information if you are interested. You can contact me at Cheryl Hicks

RE: Steve Delatorre
Oh, I see. I have some of those same situations with my own family. I am thinking that Albert, being George Sr's nephew, would be the son to one of George's sisters. I have a picture of him. Would you know who George Sr's sisters were? My father in law spoke of Laddie and his mother when we were in California in October. :)

RE: Steve Delatorre
Hi.. I think it George Delatorre Sr. His nephew Albert Guerrero was the co-founder, with George, of the cannery and Ruth Morales Guerrero was Albert's wife. She is the one that suggested they start making Menudo. I was told this info by my husbands father and I read it on the Juanita's Foods website (the history). Have you been able to view that site? I am guessing that Albert must be the son to one of Georges sisters ?
Ruth Morales Guerrero was the sister of my husbands grandmother. I have pictures of her working at cannery. I have been told that my husbands grandmother was the lady that posed for the picture on the Menudo Can, now Juanita's Foods.. She was really beautiful..

Albert and Ruth had two daughters, Rachel (Raquel) and Patsy. Do those names sound familiar?

I am hoping that we can somehow connect how Albert was related. All we know is he was George's nephew.. :)
Thanks for getting back with me..
