Bio

In 2023, I became the government appointed historian of the Town and Village of Perry, NY. I can be contacted via the information listed on the Town Of Perry website for any requests for information.

I do have a day job as a sign language interpreter, as well as owner of several businesses, several of which are history based. I love interpreting, but history is my ultimate passion!

In my contributions, if you should find errors/contradictions, please let me know so that it can be sorted out.

USING MY PHOTOS:
I am a stickler for citing sources.
So, even though there is no need to ask for permission to use any of my photos, I do request that you cite WHERE and from WHOM you acquired the photo!
When using my photos, please add: "Photo copyright: Suzie Carlson, through Findagrave.com"

This will help others know where the photo originated. In this day and age of photo manipulation, I feel it is extremely important to know a photo's origins in order to help keep history accurate and eliminate any unnecessary errors!!

Thank you for visiting, and I hope you have fun finding your roots!
