Bio Photo Just getting started with Find A Grave website. I stumbled on it and was so surprised and touched to see my Mother's grave on it.

I am still new and trying to figure out the in's and out's of the site. If you would like a page transfered to you, please let me know your relationship. If it is not my family member I will transfer.

Thank you so much for taking the photo of my great grandparents memorial. I do wish I could have known them! My genealogy research is slow - but it is little tidbits like this that give me hope for a glance into the past.
May God Bless You,

RE: George McAllister
Hi Jennifer,

No, I'm not related. I post stuff like that as I come across it, is all. If you click on the article, it will open and display the date/source in the caption below. I dont know if many people know you can click on the photos and articles and get captions.

I do not know if the killer was convicted, but if I come across that information, I will post it, and alert you if I can remember. It may be months before I find it, if I do.
You might search in the Charleston paper for the story-look at the same days and the days before and after. You'll have to pretty much scan the pages column by column but it's not as hard and tedious as it sounds-can be very interesting!

RE: McAllister
also I do not have a Clyde Mcalister. But he may be related to my McAlisters somehow. Where did he live?

RE: McAllister

I don't believe I answered your question. I have a Clyde Hawkins who when he was young lived with his grandparents James & Annie Avery. Whether he is still going by Avery I don't know. Who are his parents?

BEARD BRANNEN BOYKIN Screven County, Georgia
Dear Ms. Jennifer,

Through my mother, I am descended from John Robert BEARD's BEARD clan, his wife's BRANNENs and his in-law's BOYKINs. I hope to get back to more active research, but for now my main occupation is primary caregiver for my 94-year-old Dad. John Robert BEARD was the father of at least four children born 1870-1881. What do you believe to be your connection?

May God Bless You and Your Family,

Robert ><>
