Bio

Genealogy, begins as an interest, becomes a hobby, continues as an avocation, and in the last stages, is an incurable disease.
Author - Unknown.
=====
I began doing genealogical research in 1988 after a challenge from my Stake President. I got bit by the bug hard and have been seeking my ancestors ever since.

Please credit me for any material posted by me. You may use photographs and other media posted by me for your non-commercial/personal use, e.g., posting on a family tree web. Be sure to add the memorial # when posting media to family tree.

The research on my family is not only of my research but, is the research of many other family genealogists who have shared their findings. I thank them for their generous gift of sharing so that others may discover their heritage.

I apologize for any mistakes and will correct any as soon as it's brought to my attention.

Remember, Find A Grave is not a genealogy site, but a place to honor those who have passed on and to show where they are buried.

Those who feel no pride in Ancestors are unworthy to be remembered by descendants. Author - Unknown.

As a youngster Momma, would take me to family cemeteries. In the woods, in pastures, in the middle of nowhere. She would tell me who they were and how we were kin. I didn't realize then that she was expecting me to carry on the stories of our family and of their final resting places. She showed me the graves of her grandmother's first babies. She told me how her grandmother had fretted when it came time to move. "Who will care for the graves?" I didn't understand then what I know now. Time takes its toll on the stones and those in the woods can be lost.
So today I try to record what I can, even those that are not my kin. These stones represent where our loved ones rest.

"If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think, but the most important thing is, even if we're apart I'll always be with you." ~Winnie the Pooh
