Bio

Located in Denton County, Texas, not far from the Prairie Mound Cemetery or the Old Shiloh Cemetery in Flower Mound. Actively researching several lines on Ancestry including Spears, Ryan, Colvin, Lawrence, Littrell, McDoniel, Luna, Doughty, Smith, Critz, Medearis, Durrett, Kinnard, Metts/Metz and Baldwin. Primary interest is Thos M Smith and Martin Smith of Virginia who settled in Middle Tennessee about 1810. Thomas moved his family to Dallas County, Texas in 1851.

Each one of us should always remember we are working with people's love and emotion, when dealing with their dearly departed- let's work together in kindness and say a Prayer along the way

I will not use chalk, shaving cream, brake fluid or any other potentially harmful methods to enhance the inscriptions. Please do not use these on any photo requests I make, Thank you so very much.

Although FINDAGRAVE can be very useful for genealogy, FINDAGRAVE, as the name implies, is a grave registration site, not a genealogy site. I try to use this as my guide when on this site.

I will NOT add a link to a burial unknown memorial because I am still actively looking for where the person is actually buried. This site is named FIND a Grave for a reason.

I prefer that memorials that I manage not have Death Certificates posted. I don't feel that they are appropriate for a memorial. After all, we do not frame them and hang them on the wall in our homes. Many have personal and/or graphic information that the person or his or her family might not want publicly published. Thank you.

PLEASE: If you have your messages DISABLED, do not leave Edits (or messages) for me that may be questionable, since one-way conversations do not work.

PLEASE NOTE!!!
Find a Grave does not require that I search the entire Find a Grave system globally, only the individual cemeteries to which I am adding. Please do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial then demand that I delete my duplicate. For further information on this, please refer to how Find a Grave handles duplicate memorials in the FAQs.
