Bio

Genealogist of many years, most of my memorials are of immediate family, ancestors, or people I personally knew who have passed on.

Yes, most of my memorials are pretty bare bones. I used to have biographies. I used to have photos. I finally got sick and tired of seeing them "shared" on Ancestry, My Heritage, etc. by people I don't know, and who never asked my permission.

So all the pictures and most of the bios are gone. You can thank HollyScott50 among others for that. They're also good at lifting headstone photos that I personally requested from our hard-working and selfless photo volunteers.

Once again, folks - READ THE TOS. All information on these memorials, including biographies, photographs, etc. that was personally created by FaG volunteers are COPYRIGHTED to the people who created them.

It doesn't matter if you include my name, or the photo volunteer's name. If you didn't ask us for permission, that's like bragging "I stole this from _____!"

Just because it's on Find a Grave, or anywhere else on the Internet, doesn't mean it's yours for the taking - even if Ancestry, My Heritage, and all the other money grubbers suggest that it is.
