Bio

Married with 1 daughter & 1 son. 5 beautiful grandchildren that help to keep me feeling younger than I am and make the world a much better place to live in.
My dad always had a huge interest in history, especially the civil war, WWII and Lincoln. I guess that is where I got such an interest. Just about anything I read is history or biography. I have traveled to dozens of civil war battlefields and forts. I have also visited 13 of the early presidents homes. I guess it is just natural to then be interested in our family history as well. I have been doing genealogy for a few years now and have traced thousands of relatives back to the 1500's. What is especially interesting then is to put some stories/personal history with the people. I have ties to the Mayflower, the Salem Witch Trials, the Donner Party. Relatives from the Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea and Viet Nam. Some killed, some wounded, some that came through fine.
Find a grave fits in perfect and is a huge help for anyone trying to trace their family history.
Genealogy seems to be a addiction that cannot be beaten.
