I am a retired certified genealogist (2012) and have been actively involved in research my own and others' lines for decades. I also am an author of several books and have written numerous articles on genealogy, travel, tech subjects,and family history for various magazines. I also am former syndicated columnist for the Los Angeles Times Syndicate and was editor or co-editor of the RootsWeb Review for many years.
