Lately I have been getting notifications of duplicates that people have been making memorials without checking that a memorial has already been made. Also, the trend seems to be that people are putting a picture of a memorial on a page that already has the pictures. Some of the memorials that I created now have 2 or even 3 duplicate pictures. What if we want to add addition information in picture form or family pictures and cannot because space has run out. Can people just follow rules and be courteous to the people that came before you and already did some of the work??? It is very disrespectful. Sometimes I make that mistake and I delete what I did. I always check the memorials before I add a memorial and just add the picture. If the picture is already there, I delete my photo from my computer and move on.

Please let me know if you find a mistake or have an addition and I will change or add to the memorial. The purpose is to be as accurate as possible.

Please use any pictures of people, headstones, or obits that I have taken or was given generously by others. We are here to share our history.....I received copies of Meseke Family Photos from Daivd Jung; Wickard and Herman Family Photos from Karl Wickard and Cora Paulus Wickard; Hass, Mayer, Guth, Glatz Family Photos from Sharon Van Duyn Halseth, Hattie Hass Steger and her mother Helen Mayer Hass; Steger Family Photos from Hattie Hass Steger, Martha Steger Hespe, Barbara Steger Wedward, and Diane Fuerstenberg; Paulus, Vanasdall,Shank, Gutshall, Weary Family Photos from Terry Brindle, Mary Paulus Deitch, Lanette Morrow Yohn, Pearl Paulus Heiges, and Mae Paulus Morrow; Pinio family photos from Carol Pinio Giacobbe and Darleen Pinio; Piemonte family photos from Fred Piemonte and Rosemary Peters, Onesto family photos from Gene Onesto. Filipensky/Frana family photos from Barbara Hunt on Ancestry. I may have missed a surname or did not thank someone by name, but thank you to all who allow me to share these precious photos and information with others who are looking for these surnames.

****Any memorial pages from Galena, IL, Republic, MI, AND Crystal Falls, MI are not my relatives, so please ask if you want a transfer. These are special places to me and I like learning about the history of the place by researching the people. They were not well documented.****

****Concerning Obituaries...I have a bunch of family obituaries and other newspaper clippings. I am scanning them and putting them on Ancestry and FAG. If you have a page and do not want it on there, if you would like to type it out and delete it, that is up to you. I have limited time, due to school starting and do not have time to type them all out. At least the information is there to be used. Thank you.****

Surnames include:
Husband's side: Piemonte, Pinio, Laphen, DiGiacomo, Cozzi, Onesto, Marino
Father's side: Paulus, Wickard, Dick, Shank, Cornman, Weary, Wetzel, Hoover, Shellehamer, Vanasdall, Coover, Gutshall, Myers, Herman, Umberger, Lightener
Mother's side: Steger, Hass, Mayer, Guth, Moser, Meseke, Kehres, Philipensky (Filipensky), Robe, Schenk, Zeehin, Schweizer, Petry, Busch...just to name a few.
