Greetings dear soul sister
Betty, I completely understand the thoughts and emotions that are behind what you list about a parent who has lost a child. Although I lost a parent the feelings are almost the same. I think every caretaker to a parent going through a ravaging illness, especially when the parent is older, becomes a parent to that person in their care. It is a painful process and one in which it is hard to watch the illness take over the person. The pain is immense for the caretaker, too. I'm still coming to terms with it and like you I'll never be the same. I pray that you find some moments of comfort each day. Phyllis lives on, not only here in your hearts but in the world to come.

Sunshine and Love
Hello Betty! Sorry I have been out of touch. Just want you to know you're in my thoughts each day and I pray for loving memories of Phyllis to remain vivid for all your family. No matter what demands the world makes, I pray you will always have that quiet time and space in which to touch and cherish those memories.

And, as my Mom always said, we are the Easter People. The Hope of rising anew on the Dawn of Our Lord's New Day will come, it will come. We will arise, we will meet again and live with Him forever in a place of love and peace.

Rest in God
My heart is with you
In as hard as it is to face this day and know you cannot hug your dear friend, I know you will be celebrating the memories and the love and laughter only good friends share. I am sorry for the emptiness your heart will feel this day but glad that Phyllis had such a caring friend here on earth. What is in the heart is life's long gift and she will be with you always. That's worth celebrating on this special day. May you sense her love around you.
