to you, your husband and Agatha today and always. Thank you for being a special companion through this part of the journey. I understand you need your quiet time and appreciate your visits when you make them. Peace.
|EmilyAnn Frances May||Greetings dear soul sister|
Betty, I completely understand the thoughts and emotions that are behind what you list about a parent who has lost a child. Although I lost a parent the feelings are almost the same. I think every caretaker to a parent going through a ravaging illness, especially when the parent is older, becomes a parent to that person in their care. It is a painful process and one in which it is hard to watch the illness take over the person. The pain is immense for the caretaker, too. I'm still coming to terms with it and like you I'll never be the same. I pray that you find some moments of comfort each day. Phyllis lives on, not only here in your hearts but in the world to come.
