I live in GA, married, with children and grandchildren. I love genealogy! It is my therapy except when it drives me nuts!! I have been researching for about 20 years. My boys got me started because they were doing reenactments and wanted to know if they had any ancestors that fought Confederate. I started looking for one and found him right off and the bug had bit me!! I search my family, my husband's and most allied families!! I have met some great relatives and friends that I would have never if not for genealogy. I love to go to cemeteries, libraries,courthouses and travel when I have the time! I have a lot of family, my daddy was the baby of 10 and his daddy was the next to the oldest of 23 and grandma was one of 8 and that is only on my daddy's side!! Somebody asked when was I going to be finished and I told them you never finish, everytime you find a person they have parents, etc!!
I work hard to get my information as accurate as possible and am thankful when other contributors do the same. I'm happy to make requested corrections, but please use the "Edit" tab on the memorial. It's easier to manage the emails that way, and it gives me a link to the memorial and your profile if I need to leave a message.
