I have been researching the graves in Sangamon County, Illinois since 1990. I was president of the Sangamon County Genealogical Society from 1995 to 2008 as well as the editor of the Circuit Rider and helped transcribe and produce many of the genealogical publications that the society produced during those years. I have been researching my own genealogy since 1980. I was an executive board member of the Illinois State Library Governing Board Member 2010 - 2013 · 3 yrs2010 - 2013 · 3 yrs Springfield, Illinois Became member of publicity committee, was hospitality chair for the 2011 FGS/ISGS Fall Conference in Springfield, Illinois, attended board meetings discussing various topics and voting on those topics, as of 2013 I was also the Military Certificates Chair. I am currently a board member of the Auburn Public Library, I am also the manager/creator of the Auburn 150 Facebook page that promotes the history of Auburn, Sangamon County, Illinois. I have lived in Auburn all of my life in the same home.
