After being born and raised in Lincoln County Tennessee, I moved to Grundy County and have lived here for the past forty-six years. I'm a retired designer from AEDC. I have spent a lot of time restoring old cemeteries and continue to maintain them. My wife, Bettye (Wooten) Sherwood, and I have done research and published several books about this area of Tennessee in which we live. One hobby which consumes much of my time is that of identifying persons in old school, church and family group pictures.
