Bio

I grew up in Dublin, Bladen County, North Carolina, attending Dublin Elementary, Tar Heel High, Southeastern Community College, and some time at N.C. State. In 1968 I joined the Air Force and spent tours in California, Florida, Mississippi, England, South Korea, and finally outside Boston where I retired from the service in 1988 and moved to Plano, Texas (a northern suburb of Dallas). I recently retired after 24 years as an Engineering Manager for a defense company. I am working on my Robeson and Allen ancestor family trees and found that Findagrave.com has loads of useful data. So, would like to contribute what I can from my data searches and details of my family lineage. Would also be glad to take and send photos of graves in the north Dallas area.

My family heredity researched so far:
Father's side: Ewell C. Robeson (Dublin, NC),……, Col Thomas Jr (Rev War), Thomas Sr (born in Philadelphia 1698, moved to Walnut Grove Bladen County after 1720 ), Andrew Jr (Born in Scotland (Kelso?)in 1654, immigrated to Philadelphia 1676.

Mother's side: Isabel I. Allen (Dublin, NC), ….., Daniel J. (1865 Battle of Ft Fisher, Conf POW), …., Ephraim W. (born 1781 in Duplin County, moved to Bladen after 1800.

My wife's father is of the Chaparro family of Bogota, Colombia, South America. Her mother is from the Plata family.
