Bio
My Genealogy quest started after my retirement based on my maternal grandmother's notes on her heritage and that of her spouse. Surnames then were Arnold, Sherman, Cook. And Farrar line back to traditional Alden and Mullins. My father's line much shorter: Maudsley, McStay, Pettit, and Grady. Maudsley and McStay from England to RI in late 1860s. Pettit and Grady from Ireland to Philadelphia 1860s and eventually R.I. Twenty four years later I am still looking for loose ends in the New England lines and searching for clues to the English/Irish ancestors. Findagrave bio brought an answer to an Arnold line loose end. I'm very grateful.
