RE: Edith Bremner My grandmother and her family (11 of them) came to Canada in 1925. I have a few descendants left in England. Always interesting to try and work forward (descendants) instead of backwards (ancestors)
I noticed you had entered some photographs for St. James in Milnrow. I have some family buried there (mostly from early 1800's). I know the chance that there is a family stone is unlikely I was wondering if you know of anyone who has transcribed the cemetery, especially the older sections. Any help you can give would be appreciated.
Darwen Cemetery Noticed you had added a few for Darwen and have 3 at the site myself Section 1 Grave 2216 in the name of Leak all in the same plot i think and also have people in St James at Brindle called Eadsforth/ Eidsforth so thought it worth dropping a line on the off chance you could help
Dark days and bad weather so relaise it may take some time and you may be nowhere near those churches so if not then sorry to bother you - Derek
Thomas Sykes I have been looking the picture you added to Thomas Sykes's memorial and I noticed it said: Thomas Sykes of Ashes. Can you tell me where Ashes is located and little history on this location?
Sykes Photo Thanks for adding the picture of the Sykes memorial located in St. James The Apostle, Parish Church of Milnrow for Find A Grave. (#106659511) It was further proof of who my husband's long ago grandparents were. I would like to add your two pictures of the Church and the memorial to Ancestry--may I have your permission? Are you related to the Sykes? Thanks again,
