Want to Thank you so much for the information that you gave me on Charles Baker !!
|Terry Gustin||Winifred Trask Vanderhoef|
Winifred Trask Vanderhoef was my aunt. She never remarried after Eugene died. the write-up in find a grave erroneously states she may have remarried.

Not able to find Portville Cemetery per website.
There is a long./ lat. coordinates for it.
Apparently no website listing of who is buried there.
Was trying to find Anna (nee Carrig) Burdick.
It does appear that the listing is INCOMPLETE by Painted Hills Genealogy Society. --uhm.. 1875 NY State Census lists a Isabelle Freeman as mother ... who's ? under A.G. Burdick in Portville, NY time to investigate that one. -- as I have mentioned .. you may have other priorities .. we are not going to make a dent as there are several million if not over a billion graves in the United States. Then with ANCESTRY.com screwing things up ... doing this for FIND A GRAVE (now owned by Ancestry) just might be a waste of our time.
|ScottishPiper||RE: Albert Burdick|
Do the best of what you have and are Capable of doing. I do not expect you to chase all over and spend much of your time researching or verifying, let alone attempting to take grave marker photos.
You have gone above and beyond what most people would do. -- Also I believe since Find A Grave is now owned by ANCESTRY.com and they have been removing much of the Work I have Done because they do not want any images of any newspaper article or copied Obituary. Basically, ANCESTRY is only keeping Name, DOB, DOD, and linked Family Members.
It is like you're not able to give a Life Sketch or anything about the person. In the future, anyone who is a descendant won't know if they truly are or what that person did. I am considering to Stop Adding information to Find A Grave because ANCESTRY.com is destroying it.

Chris. Just thought I would leave a short note. Have not communicated with you for a year or so, since our common Buckley ancestors, but have now seen the pictures you put on the Alfred Scott Swift memorial, of course his wife is the sister of my great-great grandmother Patience Fowler Burd. Thanks, have a great day. Steve.
