thank you again
for taking pictures of the Knowlton graves in Rowlette, PA. I very much appreciate it. Living on the other side of the country I feared I would never get the chance to see them.
Thank you very much.

Do you have any info on 2 of mary Margaret Walters Putt's children? Sarah Putt Bodrieau (she was 12 in 1940 census) and Leon Putt? I found her other children but nothing on these 2.

Mr Chris,

Yes, I greatly appreciate all the transfers of the Treats. Thank you so much for your help and research up to this point.
There is a cemetery in Elmira that has at least 3 Treats buried there that are family, but the cemetery is very run down, and I can't seem to get anyone to take an interest in restoring it.
Its a shame to see that history be taken back by "Mother Nature".

Mr. Chris,

Would you consider transferring the grave page of Al Treat over to me? Al was my Grand Uncle, brother to my GrandFather Frank.
Have been working on the family tree for two years now, and would like to manage the grave pages of my direct bloodline.
Thank you for your consideration.

I don't think so. Ethel moved back to Bolivar area a few years after her husband died. Andy's wife is pretty sure his name was Charles Shoen as they took care of her when she moved back here. I'll ask her as I believe she has all Ethel's papers.

A mystery. I would probably use the one in Iowa as his wife died 10 years before him and it is conceivable that he was living with or visiting his son in Iowa and died there. They may not have wanted to transport his body back to NY. Do you know if there is a dated headstone in NY? You could always list that as a note on his page that he is probably buried in Iowa but also has a headstone in NY with his wife.
Good luck,

That may be him after all. Bill said they did live in Watertown and that he was in the service.

Ethel was married twice before she married Charles. I don't know the date. It probably isn't the same one.
