RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 76763766
Hi, I'm sorry but I won't be able to help you. I no longer live in Ark City so can't take photos there. I deleted all the thousands of photos I had taken there when I moved to KCMO. The cemetery (Riverview) is owned by the city of Ark City. They have a spreadsheet of the cemetery records somewhere on the city site but I no longer have the website address. The cemetery office is open with a clerk working from 9 to noon Monday through Friday and there are complete records of all burials indexed both my name and plot. You should be able to confirm any burial by contacting the office if the spread sheet doesn't answer your questions. Sorry I can not be of further help. Good luck! Linda

RE: John Brautigam
I'm sorry I don't have more info on this family. The info on his memorial was in his obituary, which had his name spelled Brautigan, that was published in the Morning Olympian on Tuesday, June 20, 1899.

Seen you question to Judy about transcription on tombstone of Wm H Speer, 24278322, Civil War Virtual Cemetery . . .
It is the Company and Regiment etc with which he served
Co A: Company A
2 ILL LA: 2nd Illinois, Light Artillery
Helps sort it out if you come upon duplicate names, Many states have books on the individual regiments, makes it easy to research him . . . -LARRY

Rachel ,

Thanks again .

I believe they are buried there , however I am not 100 % certain...but info I came across says so...but you know info can be wrong...

If you find out info that SETH WHITE & Laura are buried at Lone Hill or elsewhere in another Cemetery , please let me know...

SETH WHITE was a son of my 5 x Gr.grandfather Abel White....and a brother of my 4 x Gr. Grandfather Daniel White ( see Shumway Cem. Ohio )...

I appreciate your efforts..!

Have a Great Day ,

RE: Thanks
You are welcome, glad I could help.
Henrietta was buried in a family plot as there are 5 other family members buried with her. If interested I will send you their names or I'll make memorial pages for them.

Thank you so much for taking this photograph. I appreciate it very much -- especially when Spring seems to be avoiding us!
