Dorothy Custis.
Hi! Thank you for the updates - I have req a photo for you... from the location info, she is NOT in one of the mausoleums. I know that several people are working at photographing this cemetery and I'd think your request will be snapped up soon!

Good luck!

Take a look at B.W. Sharp's memorial 7626237. I can add the same link to the other Sharps and McDaniel's memorials if you think it is OK.

Hi T. Curtis,

More than happy to help. I have been trying to link up the 2500+ souls in the Old Mission Mausoleum for the past ten years.

If you have a memorial to your grandmother, I will be more that happy to link her to Marie's memorial if you like, just the need the Find A Grave #. I could also put a note on Marie's memorial page for any family member to contact you at your Find A Grave ID number. Let me know what will work for you and what is best.

Eleanor Custis Information
Dear T. Custis,

I am looking for someone who might have information about Eleanor when she was married to LCDR James Craig, killed in action December 7, 1941. I am researching families that lived on Ford Island in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii at that time and I was told Eleanor and her husband were residents of Nob Hill Housing which sits right in front of battleship row. I am a resident in the neighborhood and would like to have the homes here recognized for the families that lived in then that fateful day in 1941. If you happen to have any information about Eleanor's life with her first husband before his death I would love to hear from you. I am having a hard time locating family members of LCDR Craig. I do know an airport in Jacksonville, Florida was named in memory of him and I have found his grave site here in Honolulu, HI.
my e mail address is
If I have reached you in error, I apologize. I do hope you are able to help me with research on this American Hero and his wife. I really want to preserve the family stories of people who lived here on Ford Island for current and future residents of these historic homes. Everyone has a story and we need to never forget the stories.
