On the grand scale of genealogy I am fairly new to it. I have only been doing it for about 3 years now. Find A Grave has been a wonderful source for me. I believe the more information out there the greater the odds of families finding each other. I know that some of the folks on here follow the guidelines to a T, and will only transfer memorials to direct family. However, my mom and her double cousin where closer than him and his direct family. So to me family is more about the ties that bind than how many times removed we are. That being said, I have also been told that there are memorial hoarder's on here. So if you are a family member that wants a memorial transferred no matter how many times removed I will be more than happy to do it for you. When I add a memorial I am doing it for the ancestors, not the collectors. So in my mind if you are an ancestor you are the one I did it for. If I add a photo of your ancestor feel completely free to use it. If you are a family member and would like a higher resolution (since I have to down size them for the sit) just ask and I will email it to you..
