Bio

Ed Hale lives in New Hampshire with Wife Susan. He has had a life long interest in Genealogy of his family and enjoys the history lessons that come with his research. His Family came over to Mass Bay Colony from England in 1637 to Newbury, Ma. He has given research seminars at local libraries.
I have requested several transfers to me of Hale Graves where Thomas Hale of Newbury is the earliest ancestor.in Massachusetts and have provided updates in all cases. Where possible I will validate with Vital Records and page numbers.
My purpose for being a Contributor is to provide a trail for others to follow. Sources such as Vital Records,Census data and hard records are the best but if there is a Genealogy Book with page numbers that provide a solid lead in a Genealogy profile then provide that as a source too. Finding new Cemeteries can be great fun as well as documenting them or enhancing the data of another Contributor. In 2016, I added the Hancock family on my wife's side in Newfoundland Canada. In November 2016 I became a member of Sons of the American Revolution, having proven lineage to a grandfather who was in the American Revolution.
