I enjoy researching my ancestry, really, I love it. It's an adventure of unearthing information pertaining to me and my family. It's sometimes an a-ha of discovering traits and behaviors that may be hundreds of years old, but still shine through me. It's walking through a cemetery, photographing old and interesting headstones. Memorials to people long gone, but who live on in all of us. My hobby makes me feel connected to those who came before. It's a feeling that truly brings me joy.
