Bio

I am the son of Everett Arthur Davis and Waldean Beeler and have been researching ancestry for well over 20 years. Over those years I have met some phenomenal folks working unselfishly to help others on Ancestry, and Find-A-Grave.

I have one natural brother Mark who was adopted as a toddler by our maternal grand-parents which of course changed his surname to Asbell. You will find Mark very active and a very knowledgeable researcher as you separately encounter the lines we research. His tree is very accurate and has over 40,000 entries. Mine is not as broad in scope of research, but is focused on getting photos, documents, histories, stories where they are possible.

My research and focus is taking the family lines of Davis -Psalter - Blythe - Lyle - Talley - Toten - Brackett - Benson, McFarlin - Morley, Beeler - Morton - Hill - Walker - Roberts – Dowell - Mason, Rennels, Bass - Frentress - Allen - Chandler-Garrett and their lines forward and back through Ancestry DNA projects and other initiatives.

I love to attend family reunions and build the breadth, depth and width of our family history as I meet folks again I haven't seen in many years. Through interviews and scanning old photos, which I can retouch to preserve them for generations to come I seek to contribute what I am capable of helping with.

As my wife and I travel, we are drawn to help complete the records we encounter now through this awesome tool that Find-A-Grave provides. Though newer to Find-A-Grave than many here, I am actively seeking transfers from direct lines where they are not already managed by a family member, and link with those that are.

I encourage others to not only contribute but to set a successor for your work to help preserve the work you have so tirelessly contributed, and I am honored to now be among you, working as a volunteer.
