Bio

FALLEN GRAVER @ 2 years, 2 months and 18 days.

I retired in 1996 from a career as an elementary school teacher. I am, also, an Army veteran, having served in the 1960's.
Today, I am experiencing a number of health issues and am now home bound. I have a wonderful support team to assist me with everything at my home, and getting me to and from my many doctor's appointments.
Before becoming home bound, I was active in my local Extension Master Gardeners Group and for many years served as Chief Judge for my local precinct during elections. I was, also, appointed to serve on several committees by the City Council and County Commissioners here in my home County. I was active in several other organizations, too.
I live in the York-Chester National Historic District in my City in a house built in 1932. I have named the house Fern Hill, because of the many native ferns growing in my back yard and those that are in pots on my wonderful front porch.
I am an avid reader and enjoy being surrounded by my books. Because of my love of reading, I named my two cats Simon and Schuster.
I am the go to person for my family members when they want information about our genealogy and history.
To all of the Find A Grave members who have been kind enough to transfer "ownership" of my family members to me, it is most appreciated.

Larry Alexander Ware

Larry contacted me thru Find A Grave, we are 4th cousins 1X removed thru our Ware Family. I have known Larry for less than a year. I made several trips to North Carolina to meet Larry and to share our Genealogy with each other. He will be greatly missed.

Everyone please visit Larry's Memorial and leave flowers and notes on the link above.
