I grew up in Huron County Michigan, then moved to Oshkosh Wisconsin for 35 years where I taught children who were deaf/blind and then elementary education. I have always been interested in family history but had not had time to pursue it until my retirement. My father Fred Ewald loved history and I think he would have been happy to learn more about his family's past. My mom had a very good memory and was able to get me started on the journey. I do the research in honor of my parents but for my two little granddaughters Landin and Jesse who may someday want to know their history.
