I started this after starting to search for my relative's history. I happened onto Find A grave by sheer luck. It has been useful in filling some gaps. I've been contacted by other contributors about information which has been beneficial to us both. I've also been able to find some relatives just by searching with very little info. It really feels like you've hit a home run when you find someone!
