I have been interested in family genealogy since 7th grade. The importance of remembering family, especially on Decoration Day, was instilled in me by Aunt Annie, who we lived with during grade and high school years. In the mid-60's I also lived with her for a few years. She was what I think a grandmother would be like, since I never knew any of my grandparents. We would take live flowers to four different local cemeteries; there were no artificial flowers in those days.

Feel free to use tombstone pictures I have posted; my goal is to get our local cemeteries entered on Find A Grave. It's a good feeling to be contacted by someone who has been searching for their family burial area for years and found them.
