Bio

In August of 1971, six ladies gathered to work on family histories. In January of 1972 they organized The First Genealogy Society in the State of Wisconsin. We continue to strive for excellence in documenting our family histories. We involve ourselves in our community by providing monthly informative meetings, workshops, and individual assistance with genealogy questions.

We started our Kenosha County Tombstone Project in 2008. We are currently sending out groups of individuals to photograph tombstones in our Kenosha County Cemeteries.

OSSA = On Same Stone As .....

Æ or Æt is an abbreviation for the Greek word aetatis, which means "years of life."
