I was born and raised in Hawaii. I started doing genealogy research back in 1994 on my Hawaiian side of the family. I have just about finished the research of my Portuguese family side. I became interested in "Find a Grave" after I started doing my first husband's genealogy of the Brown Family from Calhoun Falls, SC. I have found it to be easier doing research on the Southern female because they list the maiden name on their graves which makes my job a whole lot easier.
